Betty Reynolds is the daughter of Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. Born in October 2019, she became widely known because of her famous parents and later attracted additional attention when her name was connected to Taylor Swift’s song “betty” and when she received a special credit on Deadpool & Wolverine.

Unlike her parents, Betty Reynolds has not built an independent public career. Her family has generally kept their children away from the spotlight, so relatively little personal information about her is publicly established. What is known about Betty largely comes from occasional comments or professional credits connected to her parents.

As of 2026, Betty is six years old. She is the third child of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively and has two older sisters, James and Inez, as well as a younger brother, Olin.

Quick Facts About Betty Reynolds

Who Is Betty Reynolds?

Betty Reynolds is the third daughter of Canadian-American actor Ryan Reynolds and American actress Blake Lively. She was born in 2019 and grew up as part of one of Hollywood’s most recognizable celebrity families.

Her parents became a prominent entertainment couple after meeting while working on Green Lantern. Reynolds played Hal Jordan, while Lively portrayed Carol Ferris. The pair later began dating and married in 2012.

Betty’s public recognition is therefore primarily connected to her family. Her parents have made a conscious effort to protect their children’s privacy, meaning there is considerably less verified information about Betty than there is about Ryan Reynolds or Blake Lively.

She has nevertheless become a familiar name to entertainment fans because of several unusual connections, particularly Taylor Swift’s music and her credit in Deadpool & Wolverine.

When Was Betty Reynolds Born?

Betty Reynolds was born on October 4, 2019, according to widely reported biographical information. She was born roughly seven years after her parents married.

As of September 3, 2026, Betty is six years old. She will turn seven in October 2026.

Her parents initially chose not to publicly reveal her name. That changed in 2020 when Taylor Swift’s song “betty” became the subject of intense fan discussion because the track also referenced the names James and Inez, the names of Betty’s older sisters.

Where Was Betty Reynolds Born?

Publicly available biographical information identifies the United States as Betty Reynolds’ birthplace. More specific details about her birth location have not been consistently established through authoritative public sources.

Because Betty is a young child, details concerning her private life and exact personal circumstances are not widely disclosed. This distinction is important when separating established information from claims repeated by celebrity biography websites.

Who Are Betty Reynolds’ Parents?

Betty Reynolds’ parents are Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively.

Ryan Reynolds is an actor and producer best known for projects including Deadpool, Deadpool 2, Deadpool & Wolverine, The Proposal, Free Guy and Red Notice. His career has made him one of the most recognizable actors associated with modern superhero cinema.

Blake Lively is an actress best known for Gossip Girl, The Age of Adaline, The Shallows, A Simple Favor and other film and television projects.

The couple met while filming Green Lantern in 2010 and eventually began a romantic relationship. They married in 2012 and have four children together.

Betty is their third child.

Betty Reynolds’ Family and Siblings

Betty Reynolds has three siblings: James Reynolds, Inez Reynolds and Olin Reynolds. James and Inez are her older sisters, while Olin is her younger brother.

James Reynolds was born in 2014 and is the eldest child of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. Inez Reynolds was born in 2016. The family’s youngest child, Olin Reynolds, was born in 2023, although his exact birth date has not been publicly confirmed.

The Reynolds-Lively family has attracted considerable public interest, but Ryan and Blake have generally tried to keep their children from becoming traditional celebrity figures.

That approach has allowed Betty and her siblings to grow up with substantially more privacy than many children born into famous families.

Betty Reynolds and Taylor Swift

One of the biggest reasons people search for Betty Reynolds is her connection to Taylor Swift.

In 2020, Taylor Swift released “betty” as part of her album Folklore. Fans quickly noticed that the song included the names Betty, James and Inez—the same names associated with Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s children. Swift later confirmed that she had used the names of the couple’s children in the song.

The connection attracted worldwide attention because Betty’s name had not previously been publicly confirmed by her parents.

The song itself is not a biography of Betty. Swift explained that “betty” is a fictional story told from the perspective of a teenage boy. The use of the family names was a personal connection between Swift and her friends rather than an indication that the song was about the child herself.

This unusual link helped make Betty’s name recognizable even though she was still a very young child.

Why Is Betty Reynolds’ Name in Taylor Swift’s Song?

Betty Reynolds’ name appears in connection with Taylor Swift’s song because Swift used the names of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s children for characters in “betty.”

The song includes the names Betty, James and Inez, corresponding to the couple’s three daughters at the time. Swift confirmed that the names were taken from the Reynolds-Lively family.

The arrangement was particularly notable because Ryan and Blake had kept their youngest daughter’s name private. The song effectively revealed the name to the public before the couple formally discussed it themselves.

Swift and the Reynolds-Lively family have had a longstanding friendship, which explains why the names could be incorporated into the song.

Betty Reynolds and Deadpool & Wolverine

Betty Reynolds also became connected to the Marvel universe through Deadpool & Wolverine, the 2024 superhero film starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.

Unlike some of her siblings, Betty was not prominently portrayed as a character on screen. Instead, she received a distinctive credit associated with Hugh Jackman. The film’s credits identify Betty Reynolds as the “Hugh Jackman Wrangler.”

The unusual credit attracted considerable attention from fans because it appeared to acknowledge Betty’s behind-the-scenes involvement with Jackman during the production.

The exact day-to-day responsibilities represented by the humorous title have not been publicly detailed. Therefore, it is more accurate to describe the credit as a special production acknowledgment rather than claim that Betty held a conventional film-industry job.

What Was Betty Reynolds’ Role in Deadpool & Wolverine?

Betty Reynolds received a “Hugh Jackman Wrangler” credit in Deadpool & Wolverine. Public reporting described it as a playful or special behind-the-scenes credit rather than a conventional acting role.

This distinction matters because Betty is sometimes incorrectly described online as an actress because her name appears in the credits.

Her father, Ryan Reynolds, was the film’s lead actor as Deadpool, while Hugh Jackman returned as Wolverine. Blake Lively also appeared in the movie as Lady Deadpool, and other members of the Reynolds family were connected to the production in different ways.

The film consequently became something of a family affair, with multiple members of the Reynolds-Lively household receiving credits or appearances.

Did Betty Reynolds Act in Deadpool & Wolverine?

Betty Reynolds is not best described as an actress in Deadpool & Wolverine. Her known credit is a behind-the-scenes “Hugh Jackman Wrangler” acknowledgment rather than a conventional on-screen acting role.

Other members of the family had more visible connections to the film. Inez Reynolds appeared as Kidpool, while Olin Reynolds was associated with the Babypool role. Blake Lively appeared as Lady Deadpool.

Betty’s credit was therefore distinctive precisely because it was not a standard acting credit.

Betty Reynolds’ Relationship With Hugh Jackman

Betty Reynolds became connected to Hugh Jackman through her father’s long-running professional relationship with the actor.

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman became particularly well known for their friendship and playful public interactions surrounding the Deadpool and Wolverine franchises. Betty’s special credit in Deadpool & Wolverine added another personal connection between the families.

Reports surrounding the film also highlighted Ryan Reynolds’ comments about Betty’s affection for Jackman. However, details of the child’s private interactions are limited, and it is important not to turn playful family anecdotes into unsupported claims about her personal life.

Betty Reynolds’ Education

There is no reliable, detailed public record establishing Betty Reynolds’ school, grade level or educational history.

That is unsurprising given her age and her parents’ approach to protecting their children’s privacy. Unlike adult celebrities, Betty does not have a public professional biography requiring educational details.

Claims about a specific school or educational program should therefore be treated cautiously unless they are directly confirmed through a reliable public source.

What Does Betty Reynolds Do for a Living?

Betty Reynolds does not have a publicly established profession. She is a young child and is primarily known publicly as the daughter of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively.

Her appearance in the credits of Deadpool & Wolverine should not be interpreted as evidence that she has started a professional acting or entertainment career. The credit was a special production acknowledgment connected to the movie.

As she grows older, she may choose to pursue entertainment, another profession, or a completely private life, but there is no reliable basis for predicting that today.

Betty Reynolds’ Net Worth

Betty Reynolds’ exact net worth has not been publicly confirmed.

Because she is a minor without an established independent career, published celebrity-net-worth figures attached specifically to her should not be treated as verified financial information.

Her parents, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, have successful careers in entertainment and business, but their wealth should not automatically be presented as Betty’s personal net worth.

It is also important to distinguish family wealth from assets legally or personally belonging to a child.

Does Betty Reynolds Have Social Media Accounts?

There is no reliably confirmed official public social media account for Betty Reynolds that should be treated as her personal account.

Her young age and her parents’ emphasis on privacy make it inappropriate to assume that social media accounts using her name are authentic.

Photos or family moments involving Betty have occasionally appeared through her parents’ public presence, but that does not mean she maintains an independent social media profile.

Where Is Betty Reynolds Now?

As of 2026, Betty Reynolds remains a young member of the Reynolds-Lively family and does not have an independently documented public career.

Her parents continue to maintain a relatively private approach toward their children. Consequently, there is limited reliable information about Betty’s everyday activities, schooling or current routine.

What is publicly established is that she remains part of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s family alongside her siblings James, Inez and Olin.

Why Do People Search for Betty Reynolds?

People search for Betty Reynolds for several closely connected reasons:

• She is the daughter of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively.
• Her name was connected to Taylor Swift’s song “betty.”
• Taylor Swift confirmed that Betty, James and Inez were names taken from the Reynolds-Lively children.
